I hope you are having as much fun playing in the dirt as I am! The weather has for the most part been very pleasant in East Texas the past 3 weeks. I had a creative attack last weekend and decided to make a miniature garden scene in a wagon. My friend Diana helped. We had fun with this using old Blue Willow china pieces, a little angel saying Sh sh sh, a rock that says Joy, and a collection of succulents and thyme. I chose small plants that would stay small. The wagon is parked outside my backdoor on my patio. My granddaughters love it, and want me to make them one too. I might.
I am a wife, a daughter, a mother of 3 grown kids, a grandmother to three little princesses, and a mother to three dogs and a cat. My husband and I have an antique business. Our focus is antique and rustic bathroom vanities. Our website is cantonantiques.com. We relocated to the East Texas countryside from Dallas 8 years ago. I have always been passionate about gardening which is the reason for this blog. More importantly I am a Christian. My husband and I attend Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton. We love singing in the choir, and we enjoy our Sunday School class. I believe that God created us and this earth. Jesus is my Savior! Praise the Lord!
